Whitney Family.

Norwalk, in Dec. 1874; and was employed on the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad. She is a communicant of St. Paul's Church.
6544 IV. James Augustus Whitney, b. in Norwalk, Ohio, 24 June 1857; and was living there, with his mother, in 1874.
6545 V. Mary Alice Whitney, b. in Norwalk, Ohio, 6 Sept. 1859; and was living there, with her mother, in 1874.
6546 VI. Lucien Everett Whitney, b. in Norwalk, Ohio, 14 Oct. 1861; and was living there, with his mother, in 1874.
6547 VII. Eben Eugene Whitney, b. in Norwalk, Ohio, 26 Oct. 1864; died in Norwalk, 16 Oct. 1865, and was buried there, in Woodlawn Cemetery.
6548 VIII. Merta Margaret Whitney, b. in Norwalk, Ohio, 28 March 1867; and was living there, with her mother, in 1874.

6549 I. William Henry Whitney. Nothing is known of him, except that he joined the Union Army, and was killed in the battle of Shiloh, Ap. 1862.
