William Sawyer, to Sackett Ostrom, a farmer, born in Dutchess Co., N. Y., 17 June 1823, son of John and Ede Ostrom. They moved to Hadley, Mich., 6 Nov. 1854; and thence, 12 Ap. 1858, to Elba, Mich., where they were living in June 1875. He has been town-clerk for six years, and has held other town-offices for eight years.
