Napoleon Bonaparte McLaughlen, a soldier, son of Hiram and Mary (Lathan) McLaughlen, of Chelsea, Vt., where he was born 8 Dec. 1823. He entered the U.S. Army, 27 March 1861, from New York, as second-lieut., of the 1st Reg. of U.S. Cavalry, which was changed to 4the U.S. Cavalry, by act of 3 Aug. 1861. He was promoted to be captain, 17 Jul 1862; brevet brig.-general, 13 March 1865; major of the 10th Cavalry, 17 May 1876; and was stationed at Fort Concho, Texas, in June 1877.

IV. Anna Robinson, b. at 61 Columbia Street, Albany, N.Y., 20 March 1846; married at 345 West 29th Street, New York, 15 Jan. 1868, by Rev. H. J. Northrop, Presbyterian, to Jonathan Dickinson Wilson, a bank-teller, son of Jonathan Dickinson and Ann Clark (Teer) Wilson, of Kingston, N.Y., where he was born 13 Jan. 1839. They dwelt at Omaha, Neb., from 28 Jan. 1868 till 8 May 1875; then settled at Worcester, N.Y., and were living there in Nov. 1877.
