1933 III. Matthew Seymour St. John, b. in Wilton, Conn., 21 Ap. 1819; a farmer; resides in Wilton, unmarried.
1934 IV. Esther Cordelia St. John, b. in Wilton, Conn., 10 Sept. 1822; resided in Wilton, in 1874.
1935 V. Elizabeth Arabella St. John, b. at Belden's Hill, Wilton, Conn., 13 Ap. 1825; married, 16 Feb. 1843, in Grand Street, Williamsburgh, N. Y., by Rev. William Van Doran, Reformed Dutch, to James Hutchingson Shand, M.D., born in the parish of Keith, Banffshire, Scotland, 7 July 1811, son of Robert and Elizabeth (Hutchingson) Shand. He died at 94 Sand Street, Brooklyn, N. Y., 4 Ap. 1849, "aged 37 years, 8 months, and 27 days," and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery. She was married (2d), 23 March 1863, in Fourth Street, Brooklyn, E. D., by Rev. Alexander McLean, Presbyterian, to Lewis James Ward, a builder, born at 12 Middagh Street, Brooklyn, 6 Aug. 1824, son of John Lewis and Eliza Ann (Brower) Ward. They lived at 78 Meserole Avenue, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, N. Y., in 1874. 6164
1936 VI. Minerva Ann St. John, b. 6 June 1828, in Wilton, where she resided in 1874.
1937 VII. William Legrand St. John, b. in Wilton, Conn., 19 Ap. 1831; a shoemaker; married, 27 Oct. 1858, in Port Jervis, N. Y., by Rev. Mr. Ostrander, Methodist, to Sarah Amanda Bonker, dau. of John and Jane Ann (Hicks) Bonker, of Greenville, N. Y., where she was born 3 May 1840. They settled at Port Jervis, and after 12 years and 9 months, moved, 27 Nov. 1870, to West Hurley, N. Y., where he was living in 1874. 6167

1939 I. John Reed, b. at Five Mile Rive; Norwalk, Conn., 5 Oct 1802; died 9 Feb. 1811, and was buried in the Union Cemetery at Five Mile River.
1940 II. Elizabeth Reed, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 2 Oct. 1807; married, 8 Aug. 1826, at the house of her father, John Reed, in Norwalk, Conn., Jesse Raymond Betts, son of Philo and Hannah Betts, of Norwalk, where lie was born 31 Jan. 1802. They moved from Norwalk to Auburn, N. Y., in 1829; thence to Seneca Falls, N. Y., in 1832: to Cayuga, N. Y., about 1849; and in 1867, lived again at Seneca Falls. In 1874, he was thought to be living at Waterloo, N. Y. 6172
