was born 10 March 1822. They settled at Aurora, now Elma, N. Y.; and were living there in Ap. 1875.
2624 VIII. James Whitney, b. at Rochester, N. Y., 28 Nov. 1833; married at Denver, Colorado, in 1863, Margaret Pierce; and was living at Yankton, Dakota, in March 1875.

2626 I. Thomas Whitney, lived at Florida, N. Y., about 1840. There were other children, whose names have not been ascertained.

2627 I. Elizabeth Ellsworth Williams, b. at Brooklyn, N. Y., 8 Feb. 1833; married, 16 June 1849, in her father's house at Cold Spring, in Philipstown, N. Y., by Rev. Alonzo F. Selleck, Methodist Episcopal, to William Fengar, a mariner, son of William and Emma (Grant) Fengar, of West Point, N. Y., formerly of Point Comfort, Va., where he was born 2 July 1826. They dwelt at Cold Spring for five years; and then removed to Newark, N. J., where they were living at 27 Magazine Street, in Dec. 1875. 7753
2628 II. Julia Ann Williams, b. at New Paltz, N. Y., 5 Ap. 1835; married in Christ Church, Prospect Street, Newark, N. J., 20 Oct. 1858, Henry Hampson, a hatter, son of William and Mary (Singleton) Hampson, of Newark, where he was born, in Bank Street, 1 May 1835. They settled in Newark; and were living there, at 181 Bank Street, in March 1876. 7761
2629 III. Hannah Williams, b. at Highland Falls, N. Y., 24 June 1840; married, 10 May 1860, at the parsonage of the M. E. Church in Halsey Street, Newark, N. J., by Rev. James R. Bryan, to Hiram Springstead, a master-mariner, born at Fort Montgomery, N. Y., son of Colwall and Jane (Lamaree) Springstead. They dwelt at Wilmington and Newport, Del.; and were living at 79 Bank Street, Newark, in Ap. 1876. 7769
