Eliza Ann Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N.Y., 2 May 1817; married there, 26 May 1834, by Elder Martin Cook, Baptist, of Belleville, in Ellisburgh, to Nathan Chamberlain, a farmer, who was born in Ellisburgh, 24 March 1813, son of John and Dolly (Allen) Chamberlain,1 and g. son of Benjamin Chamberlain, of Brattleborough, Vt., and of Ithamar Allen, of Ellisburgh. They settled in Ellisburgh, near the village; and, in Jan. 1872, moved to Belleville, in the same town, where they were living in 1874.

III. Phebe Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 11 Aug. 1821; married at Chardon, Ohio, 4 Ap. 1839, by William Metcalf, Esq., to Cornelius Stafford, a farmer, born in Manchester, N. Y., 4 Feb. 1813, son of Jonathan and Phebe (Manchester) Stafford. They settled in Auburn, Ohio, and were living there in 1874.

IV. Luther Thomas Whitney, twin, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 9 July 1824; married at Burnett, Wis., 8 July 1850, Susan Romelia Wright, of the same place; died at Burnett, 12 Jan. 1851, and was buried there. His widow married a second husband, and moved away; and the relatives of her first husband have lost all traces of her.

Lydia Mason Whitney, twin, b. in Ellisburgh, N.Y., 9 July 1824; married at Chardon, Ohio, 23 Oct 1844, Alanson Moffatt, a farmer, who was born in Farmington, Ohio, 27 May 1820, son of John and Lydia (Ward) Moffatt. They dwelt in Claridon, Ohio, for two years; and then moved to Middlefield, Ohio, where they were living in 1874.

Harriet Electa Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N.Y., 26 July 1829; lived in Claridon and Huntsburgh, Ohio, before marriage; married at the house of Nathaniel Mastick, in Claridon, 17 March 1852, by Rev. John Hill, to Josiah Smith Cook, of Burton, Ohio, a tanner and farmer, who was born in Burton, 10 May 1810, son of John and Meroa (Smith) Cook. They lived in Auburn, Ohio, for two years; and then moved to Burton, where they were living in 1874, without children.
