2766 I. Mary Jane Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 17 Sept 1814; married there, 1 Jan. 1837, by Rev. Benjamin Evans, Episcopal, to William Townsend Briggs, a farmer, son of Daniel and Susan (Townsend) Briggs, of Ellenville, N. Y., where he was born 8 May 1813. They settled in Ellenville, and were living there in Nov. 1874. 7991
2767 II. Jacob Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 13 Ap. 1817; a mason; married, 26 Sept. 1843, at her father's house in Ridgebury Society, Ridgefield, Conn. by Rev. Z. B. Burr, to Mary Perry Burr, who was born in Ridgebury, 7 Sept. 1823, dau. of Dr. David and Ann Maria (Hickock) Burr. She died in Ridgebury, 23 March 1844, and was buried in Ridgebury Cemetery. He married (2d), 24 Dec. 1848, at her mother's house in North Salem, Deborah Jane Stevens, who was born 17 Aug. 1827. They dwelt in North Salem till the Spring of 1868; and then moved to Ellenville, N. Y., where they were living in Nov. 1874. 7993
2768 III. Abigail Frances Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 5 Jan. 1820; married, 28 Nov. 1841, Clark Hickock Osborn, a mason, son of Abraham and ----- (Hickock) Osborn, of Miry Brook, in Danbury, Conn. They settled in Norwalk, Conn. and were living there in Nov. 1874, on East Avenue. 7998
2769 IV. Samuel Harvey Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 4 Aug. 1823; a blacksmith; married at Haverstraw, N. Y., 9 Aug. 1844, Nancy Ann Dykens, dau. of Thomas and Mary (Babcock) Dykens, of North Haverstraw, N. Y., where she was born 2 July 1824. They dwelt at Peekskill, N. Y., North Salem, and Patterson, N. Y.; in the last of which he died of consumption, 23 Jan. 1861, and was buried in North Salem Cemetery. She removed to Danbury, Conn. and was living there in March 1875. 8001
2770 V. Caroline Elizabeth Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 29 Jan. 1826; married there, 13 Aug. 1857, by Rev. David H. Short, Episcopal, rector of St James' Church or North Salem, to Allen Rundle,1 farmer, son of Ezra and Sally (Downs) Rundle, of Southeast N. Y., where he was horn 8 May 1819. They settled in Ridgefield, Conn., one and a half miles south of the Ridgebury meeting-house, and were living there in Nov. 1874. 8009
2771 VI. Hiram Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 21 Oct. 1828, a mason; died in St Paul, Minnesota, 5 Dec. 1870, unmarried, and was buried there.
  1 His first wife, Delia C. Bailey, died 10 Sept. 1856, aged 36 years, and was buried in North Salem Cemetery.
