3729 I. Walter Whitney, b. 22 July 1808; married at Albany, N. Y., 30 Oct 1833, Phebe Ann Sweeney; died at Milwaukee, Wis., 24 Jan. 1870; and was buried in Forest Home Cemetery. He was a captain in the 246th Reg., 61st Brigade, 9th Div., N. Y. S. Militia; and resigned 15 Jan. 1842. 10120
3730 II. James Whitney, b. 30 Jan. 1811; died at Greenbush, N. Y., when about fourteen years old.

3731 III. Rebecca Anna Whitney, b. at "Helderbergh," in Bethlehem, N. Y., 24 May 1816; married at Albany, N. Y., 12 Dec. 1833, by Rev. John B. Stratton, Methodist, to William Milton Northrop, a coppersmith and tinner, son of Benjamin and Eunice (Lee) Northrop, the father deceased, the mother living at the corner of Green and Beaver Streets, Albany, N. Y. He went to New York, became sick and unconscious, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, and there died, 1 March 1844, before his sickness was known to his wife, who does not know the place of his burial. His age was thirty-five years. She was married (2d), 4 Dec. 1846, at New York City, by Rev. William Phillips, Presbyterian, to Lucien Vernon Zander, a carpenter and farmer, son of James Andrew and Ruth (Haskell) Zander, of Troy, N. Y., where he was born 19 May 1812. She was living at Cold Spring, Wis., in Ap. 1875. He served from 25 March 1865 to 27 July 1865, as private, in Co. E, 37th Reg., Wis. Vol. Infantry. 10122
