Abbreviations:

A = Administration, or Act relating to an administration. The reference that follows is either to Act Book (e.g., viii, 23 = folio 23 of Act Book 8) or to Books Wyks or Bracy (e.g., 23 Bracy = folio 23 of Book Bracy).

Accompt = Original accompt. The reference that follows is to the bundles and number (e.g., viii, No. 23).

I = Original Inventory when followed by a reference to bundle and number (e.g., I. viii, No. 23); of Act or entry relating to an Inventory when followed by a reference to Act Book (e.g., viii, 23) or to Books Wyks or Bracy.

N = Nuncupative will. When there is no further reference, or when the reference that follows is to the probate in Act Book (e.g., N viii, 23) the will is filed among the original wills, but when the reference that follows is to one of the Registers (e.g., 23 Elsam), it is a registered copy of which the original does not exist.

T = Act relating to a will, even when the will is neither registered nor filed. The reference that follows is to Act Book or to Books Wyks or Bracy.
