p. 126, #1700: David6 WHITNEY was born 3 Nov 1762 (not 1761), Needham, MA, according to Needham vital records.

p. 126, #1700: This battle was called the Battle of Stone Arabia (not Stony Raba), according to the website Revolutionary War Battles. He was in Capt. Levi Ely's company, Col. John Brown's regiment, according to Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution. Since the battle occurred on 18 Oct 1780, either he died the next day from his wounds, or else he survived that battle and was killed the next day in the Battle of Klock's Field.

p. 126, #1701: Eunice6 WHITNEY apparently married, about 1783, Gideon ROOT of Southwick, MA, (not ----- MARSHALL) according to the LDS International Genealogical Index.

p. 126, #1705: There was a tenth child in this family: Jonathan 6 WHITNEY, born 3 Nov 1776, Hopkinton, MA, according to Hopkinton vital records.

p. 126, #680: Isaac5 WHITNEY was born 17 Aug (not Apr) 1770, Natick, MA, according to Natick vital records.

p. 126, #683: Fisher6 WHITNEY married 28 Jul 1799 (not 1797), Natick, MA (not Italy, NY), Patty WATKINS, according to Natick vital records.
