p. 72, #790: The "widow of Dr. DEXTER" was Lydia WOODS, born 17 Oct 1736, Marlborough, MA, who married, 7 Feb 1754, Marlborough, MA, Ebenezer DEXTER, who died 4 May 1769, according to Marlborough vital records.

p. 72, #790: Lydia (WOODS)(DEXTER) CURTIS died 24 (not 25) Dec 1774, aged 38 years, according to Marlborough vital records.

p. 72, #790: Anna CURTIS was born 26 Mar (not May) 1780, according to Marlborough vital records.

p. 72, #791: Abigail6 WHITNEY and Job WHITCOMB published their intentions of marriage on 6 Mar 1769, Templeton, MA, according to Templeton vital records. They had six children born in Templeton.

p. 72, #792: Mary6 WHITNEY married firstly, 9 Nov 1769, Westminster, MA, Elijah GIBBS (not GIBSON), according to Westminster vital records.

p. 72, #797: Martha6 WHITNEY died 26 Nov 1755, aged 1 day, Westminster, MA, according to Westminster vital records.

p. 72, #802: Martha6 WHITNEY did not marry a second time. She died 2 Sep 1832, aged 68 years, widow of Benjamin SEAVER, according to Westminster vital records. It was Abigail GATES who married firstly, 2 Mar 1817, Westminster, MA, Martha's son Benjamin SEAVER, Jr., and then secondly 29 Nov 1832, Westminster, MA, his brother Isaac SEAVER, also according to Westminster vital records.

p. 72, #284: Samuel5 WHITNEY married secondly, 4 May 1766, Stratford, CT, Martha HOWES, according to Stratford Christ Episcopal Church marriage records. Nothing further is known of her. She seems to be that Martha PIERC(?), born Mar 1733, who married, Apr 1755, Stratford, CT, Isaac HOWE, according to the Stratford Congregational Church marriage records. That couple had four children baptized in Stratford from 1756 to 1764. No death record for Isaac has been found. Martha could be a daughter of Benjamin and Mary (-----) PIERCE of Stratford, although her birth or baptism records have not been found.

p. 72, #800: Samuel5 WHITNEY resided in Stratford, Fairfield, and Newtown (not Newton), CT, according to [[Archive:Connecticut, Vital Records, Barbour Index|Stratford vital records] and S. Whitney Phoenix, The Whitney Family of Connecticut (1874), vol. 1, pp. 33-34.

p. 72, #807: Hannah6 WHITNEY married, 19 Dec 1792, Huntington, CT, Robert WRIGHT, according to Huntington vital records. They had five children recorded in Huntington.

p. 72, #810: Elizabeth6 WHITNEY was baptized as stated, in Weston, MA, "aged about 11 years", according to Weston vital records, so she must have been born shortly after her parents' marriage. She must have died soon, however, because another daughter Elizabeth6 WHITNEY was baptized 25 Apr 1742, Weston, MA.
