Elijah Stanton (Elizabeth⁴, David³, Joshua², John¹), son of Elijah and Elizabeth⁴ (Whitney) Stanton, was born 28 Dec 1750, Preston, CT, and died 1833.

He married, 1 Oct 1772, Jemima Beach, daughter of Enos and Ann (Squire) Beach. She was born 11 Apr 1751, Wallingford, CT, and died after 1790.
