He married, 3 Nov 1859, Portland, ME, Louisa B. Young, "both of Portland".[2] She was born about 1837, ME, and died after 1880.

Whitney, b. ca. 1867, Saco, ME; d. 26 Nov 1900, Haverhill, MA, aged 33 years 2 months 29 days, of diabetic coma;[3] m. 18 Dec 1894, Bradford, MA [also recorded in Haverhill, MA], Frederick O. Raymond, Jr., b. ca. 1868, Haverhill, MA, son of Frederick O. and Hannah V. (Harris) Raymond.[4]
