Family:Whitney, Amaziah (1771-1842)

Amaziah⁶ Whitney (Abner⁵, John⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Abner⁵ and Sarah (Hilton) Whitney,^[1] was born about 1760, was baptized 4 Aug 1771, Groton, MA,^[2] died 6 Mar 1842, and was buried in the Gurney Chamberlain or Rose Burying Ground, Maryland, Otsego Co., NY.^[3]

He married Sarah Boyington. She died aged 86 years.

He was in the Revolutionary army in a company from Worcester County, under command of Captain Boutell; resided in MA, Albany and Maryland, NY.
