Appollos7 Whitney (Nathan6, David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Nathan6 and Eunice (Cottle) Whitney, was born 26 Dec 1801, Gorham, ME, and died 6 May 1877, Marietta, OH.

He married firstly, 9 Jun 1831, West Alexander, PA, Caroline Buff.

He married secondly, 24 Nov 1836, Ohio Co., VA, Elizabeth Prettyman. She was born 15 Aug 1807, Ohio Co., VA, and died 11 Nov 1881, Marietta, OH.

Appollos7 and Caroline (Buff) Whitney had no known children.

vi. Lucy Whitney, b. ca. 1847, VA. Probably she was "Lizzie", not "Lucy". She is named Elizabeth in 1860, and Eliza A., m. 12 Aug 1867, Washington Co., OH, Andrew J. Peters.
