Benjamin is probably Franklin Whitney listed with the Henry Whitney family on the 1850 Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland census. Henry's wife's name was Mary and Benjamin has a Mary, listed as his mother, living with him on the 1880 census. Could this be Henry's widow?
