Berton E.9 Whitney (Francis Eugene8, Philip7, Alpheus7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Francis Eugene8 and Eunice Francelia (Cory) Whitney, was born about 1876, Halifax, VT, and died after 1900.
He married, 18 Jul 1899, Leyden, MA, Mary E. Moulton, daughter of Lyman D. and Fatima (Hall) Moulton.[1] She was born about 1879, East Dover, VT, and died after 1905.

i. Clara Justine10 Whitney, b. 29 Aug 1902, Leyden, MA.[2] ii. Bert E. Whitney, b. 8 Apr 1905, Leyden, MA.[3] iii. (daughter) Whitney, b. 8 Apr 1905, Leyden, MA; d. 8 Apr 1905, Leyden, MA, aged 4 hours, of physical exhaustion.[4]
