Charles7 Whitney (Jesse6, David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jesse6 and Charity (Gray)(Nowell) Whitney, was born 10 Apr 1824, Saco, ME, and died after 1880.

He "of Biddeford" married, 24 Sep 1852, Biddeford, ME, Mary Elizabeth Sawyer "of Saco",[1] daughter of Noah and Hannah (Jacobs) Sawyer. She was born 2 Jul 1826, Saco, ME, and died after 1880. Another record says daughter of William and Esther (Spencer) Sawyer, died 2 Oct 1896, Biddeford, ME, aged 68 years 9 months, of hemorrhage, widowed.[2]

Children of Charles7 and Mary Elizabeth (Sawyer) Whitney, if any, unknown.
