He married, 13 Apr 1873, Williamsburg, ME, Martha Merrill, daughter of Adam Hughes and Persis Poor (Greenleaf) Merrill. She was born 30 Mar 1850, Corinth, ME, and died 20 Sep 1910, Bangor, ME.

Resided in Brownville, Piscataquis Co., ME in 1880, where he was a store clerk.
