Edmund Harvey Whitney (Roswell, Joseph), son of Roswell and Jerusha (Rosebrook) Whitney, was born 10 Sep 1853, Sherburne, NY, or Otsego Co., NY, and died 11 Jun 1939, Sanford, NY. He was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton, NY.[1]

He married firstly, Alma Ward, daughter of Darius and Irene (-----) Ward. She was born about 1852, NY.

He married secondly, about 1899, Sarah Elizabeth (DeVeal) Crawford. She was born Nov 1865, and died after 1910. She was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton, NY.[2] She had married firstly, before 1893, Charles Crawford.

iii. Lizzie Whitney, b. ca. 1885; d. aft 1892.
