Family:Whitney, Edward H. (1844-1906)
Edward H.8 Whitney (Horace F.7, Daniel6, [prob.] Caleb5, Joshua4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Horace F.7 and Silvina (Parker) Whitney, was born about 7 Mar 1844, Dover, NH, and died 2 May 1906, Cambridge, MA, aged 62 years 1 month 25 days, of oedema of the brain from disease of the coronary arteries with two old crysts of the brain.[1] He was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover, NH.
He married, 29 Nov 1866, Dover, NH, Jennie Hannah Hooper,[2] daughter of John and Caroline (Cushing) Hooper. She was born 17 Aug 1846, Dover, NH, and died said 29 Nov 1918.
In 1872 he was a tin worker.
