He married firstly, before 1869, Fannie Corrigan. She was born about 1853, New Brunswick, Canada
He "Francis R." married secondly, 20 Oct 1877, York Co., ME, Sarah R. Cole "both of Gorham".[1]
He also appears as "Frank B. Whitney". In 1873 he was a hostler living at 34 Ward St., Boston, MA.
Frank was a soldier during the Civil War. He was a Private in Co. I, 20th Maine Infantry. He applied for a pension for his service, but his claim was rejected.
