Francis Wheeler6 Whitney (Isaiah5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaiah5 and Mary (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 30 Nov 1778, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 19 Apr 1805, Harvard, MA, aged 26 or 27 years.[2]

He married, 30 Nov 1803, Harvard, MA, Lydia Sawyer,[3] daughter of Elias and Ruth (Hayward) Sawyer. She was born about 9 Sep 1778, Bolton, MA (calculated from age at death), and died 10 Jan 1862, Boylston, MA, widow, aged 83 years 4 months 1 day, of typhoid fever.[4] She "Mrs." "of Harvard" married secondly, 18 Oct 1806, Boylston, MA,[5] or 23 Oct 1806, Harvard, MA, Andrew Bigelow "of Boylston"[6] (1764-1834) as his second wife.
