He married, about 1882, Elnora Emilie Smith, daughter of Welcome and Hannah (Vandervoort) Smith. She was born 20 Nov 1864, Ararat, PA, and died 6 Jun 1952, Lincoln, NE. She was buried in Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.^[3]
