Franklin Alonzo⁹ Whitney (Charles Henry⁸, Job⁷, Job⁶ Whitney, Solomon⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Charles Henry⁸ and Lucy Elizabeth (Taft) Whitney, was born 8 May 1855, Jefferson Co., NY, and died 22 Oct 1927, McLean, NE. He was buried in Randolph Cemetery, Randolph, NE.^[1]

He married 23 Jul 1877, Oconto Co., WI, Frelove Elizabeth Minnick, daughter of Barnard E. and Betsey E. (-----) Minnick.^[2] She was born 20 Mar 1861, Pensaukee, WI, and died 17 Feb 1933, Norfolk, NE. She was buried in Randolph Cemetery, Randolph, NE.^[3]
