He married, 25 Mar 1858, Royalton Center, NY, Matilda Ann Wright, daughter of Timothy Hill and Abigail Tucker (Wright) Wright. She was born 19 Mar 1834, Bergen, NY, and died after 1874.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a farmer . . . . They dwelt at Carleton, N.Y., till 1862; and then settled at Royalton, where they were living in 1874."
