Henry Algernon⁸ Whitney (Reuben Parmenter⁷, Samuel⁶, Aaron⁵, Elnathan⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Reuben Parmenter⁷ and Hannah Williams (Wilson) Whitney, was born 11 Feb 1856, Southbridge, MA,^[1] and died after 1900.

He married, m. 4 Feb 1880, Woonsocket, RI, Jennie Florence Arnold, daughter of Henry S. and Sarah M. (-----) Arnold.^[2] She was born Mar 1858, RI, and died after 1900.

They resided Woonsocket, RI, 36 Summer St.
