Howard Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1808, and died after 1880.
Marriage intentions were published 26 Jul 1830, Monroe, ME, for him and Olive J. Twombley.[1] He married, 30 Aug 1830, Monroe, ME, Olive J. Twombley, "both of Monroe",[2] daughter of Nathaniel and Betsey Brewer (Jones) Twombley. She was born 11 May 1810, Monroe, ME, and died 19 Jan 1902, Monroe, ME. She was buried in Bartlett Yard, Monroe, ME.[3]
They were divorced 19 Jan 1872, Waldo Co., ME, although both are listed as widowed in the 1880 census.
