Isaac King8 Whitney (Thomas Mott7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Abraham4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), son of Thomas Mott7 and Mary Buchanan (King) Whitney, was born 4 Jan 1833, Cape Negro Island, Barrington, NS, and died 1 May 1899, Lunenberg, NS.
He married, 28 Jan 1858, Stephen's Island (now Young Island), Mahone Bay, NS, Louisa Sarah Ann Young, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Hirtle) Young. She was born 4 Aug 1836, Stephen's Island, NS, and died 11 Dec 1903, Lunenberg, NS.
He was a master-mariner; went to Lunenburg, NS, 19 Apr 1855. They dwelt in Lunenburg till 1867, and in Shelburne, NS, till 1871; when they returned to Lunenburg, and were living there in Aug 1874.

Louisa Ellen Whitney, b. 2 Dec 1867, Lunenburg, NS; d. after 1881. v. Elizabeth Ildora Whitney, b. 26 Feb 1870, Lunenburg, NS; d. after 1881. vi. Lady Cecilia Whitney, b. 30 Nov 1873, Lunenburg, NS; d. after 1881.
