Jeremiah Whitney, parentage unknown, died after he was mentioned in his son Samuel's will, 10 Mar 1759.

He married, before 1702, Margaret -----.

Children of Jeremiah and Margaret (-----) Whitney (order uncertain, possibly incomplete):

i. Samuel Whitney, bapt. 12 Sep 1703, St. Helen, Worcester, Worcestershire; died after he added a codicil to his will 12 Jun 1759 and before it was probated 28 Apr 1760. His will was written 10 Mar 1759. In it, he describes himself as being from St. Paul, Deptford, Kent, Distiller. He served as executor of his friend Rebecca Downs, widow of Deptford who wrote her will 11 Aug 1750. In his own will, he mentioned lands in Wapping, Middlesex.
ii. Greenhill Whitney, bapt. 27 Aug 1706, St. Nicholas, Stafford, Staffordshire; bur. 17 Nov 1706, St. Nicholas, Stafford, Staffordshire.
iii. Greenhill Whitney, b. after 1706; died after he wrote his will 25 Mar 1762 and when it was proved 19 Jan 1763. He married Mary Draper, daughter of Richard and Mary (-----) Draper. After his death, she remarried, 10 Nov 1763, St. Paul, Deptford, Kent, John Elliott, previously commander of the ship Salisbury. She died after she wrote her will 7 Jun 1766 and before it was proved 8 Apr 1767. Greenhill witnessed the will of Rebecca Downs.
iv. Elizabeth Whitney; m. 28 Dec 1746, St. Nicholas, Worcester, Worcestershire, Richard Harris.
