John Alfred Whitney (Thomas L.), son of Thomas L. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Jeffries) Whitney, was born 14 Dec 1878, MO, and died 9 May 1956, Omaha, NE. He was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, NE.[1]
He married firstly, 10 Mar 1896, Omaha, NE, Hattie Bishop, daughter of Frank and Rebecca (-----) Bishop.[2] She was born about 1878, Laramie, WY.
He married secondly, 26 Jul 1899, Melissa "Lizzie" Clarencee. She was born Dec 1885, NE, and died after 1900.
He married thirdly, 30 Nov 1903, Woodbury Co., IA, Belle Virginia Morse, daughter of Joseph F. and Sarah (Triplet) Morse.[3] She was born about 1880, NE, and died 1957, Omaha, NE. She buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, NE.[4]
He enlisted on 3 May 1898 in the U.S. Army.[5] He deserted 6 Aug 1901.[6]
