Jonathan W.⁷ Whitney (George Washington⁶, Asa⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of George Washington⁶ and Mary (Whitney) Whitney, was born 26 Mar 1823, and died 21 Dec 1876, Waupun, WI.

He married, 30 Nov 1845, Dracut and Lowell, MA, Mehitable Barker Emerson, daughter of Samuel and Abigail (-----) Emerson.^[1] She was born 12 May 1822, Fryeburg, ME, and died after 1860.
