Julius Lowell⁹ Whitney (Benjamin Nichols⁸, Oliver⁷, Joshua⁶, Caleb⁵, Jonathan⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Benjamin Nichols⁸ and Lovina R. (Lowell) Whitney, was born 26 Oct 1847, Rochester, VT, and died 21 Jan 1876, Rochester, VT.

He married, 24 Dec 1874, Rochester, VT, Lucy F. Austin,^[1] daughter of Stillman and Louisa (Flanders) Austin. She was born 15 May 1849, Rochester, VT, and died 25 May 1904. She married secondly, 18 Jan 1880, Forestdale or Rochester, VT, Albert William Nason, son of Clark and Silence (-----) Nason.^[2] He was born 6 Apr 1848, Ripton, VT, and died 29 Mar 1897 .

He resided Rochester, VT.
