Leander⁸ Whitney (Aaron Parker⁷, Aaron⁶, Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Aaron Parker⁷ and Phyrilla (Durkee) Whitney, was born 3 Jan 1841, and died 13 Mar 1919.

He married, 18 Mar 1883, Lebanon, NH, Evoe Estella Carpenter. She was born about 1844, Topsham, VT. They were divorced by 1900. She married secondly Henry Blanchard Lyford.

He lived in Bayard, IA, with his sister Henrietta (Whitney) Dewey.
