He married, 16 Sep 1879, Emma Elizabeth Clark, daughter of Marcellus and Lucy F. (Creel) Clark. She was born 13 Apr 1855, WV, and died between 1910 and 1920.

He married secondly, 27 Jun 1918, Orange Co., CA, Augusta Gload McCallister, daughter of William W. and Amanda (-----) McCallister. She was born about 1868, VA, and died after 1940.

He resided at Auburn, NY, in 1874.
