Lucy⁸ Whitney (Jesse Whitney (Jesse⁷, Jesse⁶, David⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹, daughter of Jesse⁷ and Rebecca (Chapman) Whitney, was born 1847, prob. Biddeford, ME, and died 9 Sep 1884, Biddeford, ME.

She married, 9 Feb 1865, Biddeford, MR, Warren Davis, son of Nathaniel and Eunice (Curtis) Davis. He was born 22 Feb 1840, Biddeford, ME, and died 30 May 1913, National Soldier's Home, Togus, Chelsea, ME.

Warren Davis married secondly, 24 Dec 1887, Waltham, MA, Dora Ethel Flemming, daughter of Stephen and Amelia (Angevine) Flemming. She was born 16 Feb 1864, Wentworth, NS, and died 9 Jan 1921, Blue Hill, ME.

Warren and Lucy Davis are buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, Biddeford, ME.

Warren Davis served in the U.S.Navy during the Civil War. He served aboard the ships: North Carolina, Home, Princeton and Catskill. He was awarded a pension for his service.

v.	Sarah "Sadie" Orena Davis, b. ca. 1877, Biddeford, ME; m.(1) 30 Jun 1896, Waltham, MA, Werton Emerson Scribner; m.(2) 26 Nov 1913, Waltham, MA, Martin Gannon.
