Nathan⁸ Whitney (Luther⁷, Nathan⁶, Jonathan⁵, Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Luther⁷ and Hannah (Witter) Whitney, was born 2 Jan 1812, Seneca, NY, and died 13 Dec 1867.

He married, 14 Oct 1839, Betsey E. Scotford. She was born 14 Oct 1809, and died 16 Jan 1880.

He was a farmer. He resided Wheatland and DeWitt, MI.
