Nathaniel7 Whitney (John6, James5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of John6 and Hannah (Holbrook) Whitney, was born 10 Jul 1772, Sherborn, MA,[1] and died 2 May 1837, Manlius, NY, aged 64 years 9 months, buried Christ Church Cemetery, Manlius, NY.[2]

He, of Whitestown, married, 3 Jan 1799, New Hartford, Oneida Co., NY,[3] Deborah Eames, daughter of John and Ruth (Stone) Eames. She was born 10 Feb 1778, Framingham, MA, and died 28 Jun 1840, Manlius, NY, aged 62 years 4 months.[4]

He resided Manlius, NY.

Children of Nathaniel and Deborah (Eames) Whitney, not determined, although censuses show they had several born between 1800 and 1820. Possibles:

i. (?) Sumner Whitney, b. ca. 1801; m. Marella Cross.
ii. (?) Norman Whitney, b. ca. 1801, Oneida Co., NY; m. Jane Millard.
iii. (?) John E. Whitney, b. 1813, Madison Co., NY; m. Maria T. Rogers.
iv. (?) Henry Whitney, b. ca. 1816, Madison Co., NY; m. Lucy Ann -----.
