Neil Lamont⁷ Whitney (Peter⁶, John⁵, Eliakim⁴, Nathan³, John², Henry¹), son of Peter⁶ and Mary (Lamont) Whitney, was born about 1815, and died before 1889.

He married firstly, 9 Aug 1833, Markham, ON, Mary Kile. She was born about 1818, ON. Apparently they were divorced, as she was buried 17 Dec 1899, Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Erie, PA.

He married secondly, 7 Sep 1874, Port Huron, MI, Mary Capson Rowley.^[1] She was born about 1842, London, England, and died after 1889.
