He married 2 Oct 1836, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Rachel Lane.[1] She was born sa7 1815, and died after 1837.
They lived in Strongsville, where he was taxed in 1836 and 1838.[2]
Children of Robert and Rachel (Lane) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
i. William Warren Whitney, b. ca. 1837, Alliance, OH; m. Mary J. Crossley.
