Sarah5 Whitney (John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), daughter of John4 and Rebecca4 (Whitney) Whitney, was born 5 Feb 1726/7, Lancaster or Harvard, MA,[1] and died 17 May 1771, Townsend, MA.[2]

Sarah married, 26 Nov 1747, Groton, MA, Benjamin Wilson,[3] son of John and Elizabeth (Foster) Wilson, as his first wife. He was born 18 Sep 1715, Billerica, MA, and died 1 Jun 1774, Townsend, MA. He had married firstly, 18 Sep 1738, Groton, MA, Ruth Bush "of Groton". He married thirdly, 20 Aug 1772, Townsend, MA, Bathsheba (Moore)(Woods) Petts, daughter of Collins and Bathsheba (Woods) Moore, as her third husband, widow of Ephraim Woods and John Petts.

Children of Benjamin and Sarah5 (Whitney) Wilson, all born Townsend, MA:

i. Oliver Wilson, b. 27 Mar 1749; d. 27 Nov 1812; m. Sarah Heywood. He lived in 1771 at Winslow, Maine
ii. Ephraim Wilson, b. circa 1750. He lived in 1771 at Winslow, Maine
iii. Lucy Wilson, b. circa 1752; d. 12 Oct 1752, Townsend, MA.
iv. Beulah Wilson, b. 24 Feb 1753.
v. Rebecca Wilson, b. 31 Mar 1756.
vi. Joseph Wilson, b. 22 Sep 1759.
vii. John Wilson, b. 16 Oct 1761.
viii. Sarah Wilson, b. 23 Sep 1764.
ix. Mary Wilson, b. 11 Oct 1766.
x. Reuben Wilson, b. 4 Jul 1769.
