Sarah Hoyt⁸ Whitney (Uriel⁷, Uriel⁶, Abner⁵, John⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), daughter of Uriel⁷ and Mary (Hoit) Whitney, was born was born 6 Apr 1836, North Yarmouth, ME, and died 30 Sep 1918, Portland, ME.

She married 24 Oct 1865, Portland, ME, Reuel N. Field, son of William B. and Relief (Townsend) Field. He was born 24 Jun 1837, Freeport, ME, and died 1 Feb 1911, Portland, ME.

Reuel Field was a Civil War veteran, and he and Sarah received pensions from the U. S. Government.

i.	Hattie Louise Field, b. 16 Feb 1870, Portland, ME; m. William Henry Morris.
