Seiva7 Whitney (Ezra6, Ezra5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Ezra6 and Sally (Hooker) Whitney, was born 18 Mar 1799, Rockingham Township, Windham Co., VT, and died 6 Sep 1831 probably in Burns, NY, age 32y 5m 18d. He was buried in Canaseraga Cemetery, Burns, NY.
He moved with his parents and siblings from the family home in Vermont to Allegany County, NY, in 1817.
In 1820, he was listed as being engaged in agriculture.
Seiva Whitney was not located on the 1830 census in Burns, Allegany Co., NY with the other members of his family. He may have been the 30-40 year old male living with Lucy Whitney.
He married, before 1831, Hannah -----. She was born about 6 Jan 1807 and died 28 Aug 1831, age 24y 7m 22d, probably in Burns, Allegany Co., NY. She was buried in Canaseraga Cemetery, Burns, NY.
Seiva had no known children, although there is an "infant Whitney" tombstone with no dates listed next to their entries.
