He married secondly, about 1887, Caroline Livingston, daughter of Hiram and Deborah (Smith) Livingston. She was born Jul 1842, NY, and died 2 May 1922, Asheville, NC. She was buried in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, NY.[4]
