Walter Crosby Whitney (Charles L., William H.), son of Charles L. and Sarah A. (Molloy) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1878, Lowell, MA,[1] and died after 1908.

He married, 23 Apr 1903, Lowell, MA, Frankie M. Orser, daughter of Samuel B. and Attrude (Mooers) Orser.[2] She was born about 1883, NB.

i. Charles Dinsmore Whitney, b. 15 Aug 1904, Lowell, MA;[3] d. 27 Feb 1905, Lowell, MA, aged 6 months 5 days, of spina bifida;[4] bur. Edson Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
ii. Hazel A. Whitney, b. 20 Sep 1905, Lowell, MA.[5]
iii. Bertha I. Whitney, b. 15 Nov 1906, Lowell, MA.[6]
iv. Margaret P. Whitney, b. 5 Mar 1908, Lowell, MA;[7] d. 20 Dec 1909, Lowell, MA, aged 1 year 9 months, of broncho pneumonia;[8] bur. Edson Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
