Walter E.10 Whitney (Elbridge Green9, Nelson8, Ethan7, Hiram H.6, Henry5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Elbridge Green9 and Emma A. (Barney) Whitney, was born 18 Jul 1871, Bellingham, MA,[1] and died after 1930.

He married, 6 Aug 1895, Milford, MA, Charlotte E. Smith, daughter of Alverado and Mary (Hastings) Smith.[2] She was born about 1872, Marlboro, MA.

i. Edmond Francis11 Whitney, b. 2 Mar 1896, Milford, MA.[3]
ii. (daughter) Whitney, b. ca. 31 Jan 1899, Hopedale, MA; d. 1 Feb 1899, Hopedale, MA, aged 1 day, of premature birth.[4]
iii. Nelson Harris Whitney, b. ca. 25 Mar 1900, Hopedale, MA; d. 21 May 1900, Hopedale, MA, aged 1 month 26 days, of whooping cough and convulsions.[5]
