He married secondly, 3 Jan 1765, Newton, MA, Elizabeth Cheney "of Newton", daughter of James and Lydia (Mirick) Cheney. She was born 3 Jul 1736, Newton, MA, and died 11 Mar 1776, Newton, MA, at age 39.

He married (intentions 2 Nov 1782, Newton, MA) Mary Crosby, parentage, birth, and death unknown.
