Family:Whitney, Benjamin (1802-1887)

Hon. Benjamin⁷ Whitney (Benjamin⁶, Jonas⁵, David⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Benjamin⁶ and Nancy (Fuller) Whitney, was born 25 May 1802, Marlborough, NH,^[1] and died 19 Jul 1887.

He "Jr." "of Marlborough, N.H." married, 10 Oct 1826, Elmira Stimpson,^[2] of Ashburnham, MA. She was born 4 Dec 1802, and died 12 May 1865.

He married secondly, 8 Nov 1865, Marlborough, NH, Lydia K. Woodward.^[3] She was born about 1803, MA, and died between 1870 and 1880.

He was a school teacher in his younger days, was representative six years and selectman for eight years, and was justice of the peace for many years. He resided Marlborough and Littleton, NH.
