Charles F. Whitney (Charles Francis, Francis), son of [[Family:Whitney, Charles Francis (1824-1874)}Charles Francis and Alvira Hendee (Gifford) Whitney]]), was born about 1854, Wolcott, VT, and died 31 Jan 1927, Hardwick, VT. he was buried in Main Street Cemetery, Hardwick, VT.^[1]

He married, 24 Dec 1877, Albany, VT, Nellie J. Clark, daughter of George T. and Mary J. McAllister Clark.^[2]

i.	Clyde E. Whitney, b. ca. 1879, Elmore, VT; m. 17 Jul 1907, Lynn or Pittsfield, MA, Helena Medick, b. ca. 1887, Pittsfield, MA, dau. of Louis O. and Annie M. (Scheiner) Medick.[3] Children: a. Oswald Francis Whitney, b. 22 Aug 1908, Saugus, MA.[4]
