He married, date and place unknown, Mary Ward, daughter of Phineas and Eunice (Cutting) Ward. She was born 22 Jul 1764, Worcester, MA.
He was born in Worcester, MA, and when quite a young man served in the Revolutionary war for three months. He suffered severely from exposure, and had a pension granted him 4 Mar 1831. He was a farmer, and resided Oxford, ME.
